In the Room
The staff was professional, friendly and accommodating. The room was charming and clean. The beach and buses to anywhere in the island were within walking distance. A great value for the price. I genuinely enjoyed my stay there and could easily recommend this hotel.
Good clean room - very helpful and efficient reception staff - relaxed place for abreak.
Location was quite remote with only a limited bus service serving the hotel itself.
The Staff were very good the room was very nice modern , clean and well equiped, the location was perfect for me as I was working at a close by Golf Course, I would stay here again.
Only one thing and this is just a small thing but internet was only available in the Lounge are not the room, but it would not stop me visiting again
The manager was incredibly friendly and accomodating to our needs. The hotel was pleasant, the meal we ate in the hotel was delicious, the beds were very comfortable! It is conveniently situation not far from St Helier, and a pleasant walk to Gorey. The car park was definitely a bonus. Again the manager was happy to give us directions, extra blankets and anything that we needed. The room was bright and large considering it was a family room with 4 adults sleeping in it.
The shower didn't really function - not enough pressure, but the bath was brilliant. Our room was very very cold and took a long while to heat it each day as it had storage heaters. The fold-out bed was generous in size, but the person sleeping on it did feel that there could have been slightly more cushioning between the metal frame and the sleeping bit.
The hotel was out in the country, I had a gift car so it was close to town and the beach. Quiet and a real get away.
The breakfast buffet was good however the evening meal was terrible, I ate there twice, first meal was very poor, second was so bad I sent it back. Did not rat dinner in the hotel again for the remaining.g two weeks.
Great people! Loved the pool!
Beachcombers not near the beach. No phone in room. Only 2 sockets in room! 'Double bed' actually two single bases with a large mattress! Kids not catered for well at the evening meal.
Fantastic hotel with a very nice sized room pleasure to stay there I will definitely stay again.
I would have loved to have stayed in the hotel restaurant but it was very expensive with not much choice in meals. The bar was also very expensive £4.50 for a can of Magners poured into a glass with ice.
There was a warm welcome. The room was spacious, recently refurbished.
The evening meal was poor. Only a set menu was offered. I had moules - the smallest portion I've ever seen. Dessert was a buffet. If you wanted cheese it was a pile of little chopped-up pieces. Horrid.
Very friendly and efficient staff. The Hotel was comfortable, excellant breakfasts and good choice of menu at the evening meal. Always a meat, fish and vegetarian option. When I found my initial room noisy I was moved to a quieter one without any problem and without feeling I was making a fuss or causing any problem. I would be happy to recommend this hotel and would stay again myself
Just room 16 had a water tank in the room that filled up all the time making a lot of noise. It was also on the main road which I found noisy. I was moved when I requested a quieter room
The pool and tennis court, the decor of rooms and dining room. The location near the countryside. The cleanliness of rooms.
We were shown to a "family room" which only had a double bed and sofa bed. We have two children so obviously too small. I showed them that we booked a double bed with twin beds or bunks. There were no other vacant family rooms, so fortunately they were happy to move us to a twin room next to a double room. We were surprised at their booking error.
Quiet location and quiet at night so everyone could sleep. No rowdy occupants.very good breakfast, clean rooms and comfortable matresses. Very friendly staff.
We stayed for bed and breakfast only, but on Sunday evening we decided to have the evening meal. However this was not good value for money as although the food was good ,there was not enough on the plates and we were all still hungry afterwards.
A smart, clean, modern hotel. Good breakfasts, staff always polite, helpful and friendly. It has a small pool with sunloungers and towels provided, a garden area and tennis court. My son liked the WIFI availability in the reception area so he could keep in touch with his friends via Facebook! We would all happily go back tomorrow!
I could have wished for a wider choice of food available in the evening, if I was being picky, but that's only because I have difficulty finding food that my older son will try. Along with the rest of Jersey, eating out is expensive.
Friendly service,clean rooms/towels/bed linen.Reasonable food prices.
Breakfast -cooked food was very disorganised-a stupid self service system where supposedly hot containers stored eggs, bacon, sausages etc.,.Unfortunately the temperature was set to low, invariable some items had run out & one had to wait while they were replenished- subsequently the rest of the food got colder!!A New & different system is called for!!
We enjoyed the layout of the building, the cleanliness, and the attractive decor. The food was absolutely fantastic the staff were most helpful polite and friendly. The rooms were very comfortable, airy and quiet.
A makeup mirror would be nice and a packet of tissues.
Good location, very friendly helpful staff, modern clean quiet room, Excellent breakfasts and evening meal,
No lift, our room was at top of the house up 3 flights of stairs
